My academic and professional background consists of apparel design, textile product development, retail marketing strategy and brand activation production. These elements converge to form my philosophy of creating meaningfully designed products, engaging storytelling through marketing and branding, & impact-driven retail strategy and brand activation.
Originally studying Textiles, Design & Marketing at the University of Alberta while working as marketing manager for Kit and Ace, I then re-located to Vancouver to work in the fashion industry for a number of years. During that time I've presented and developed design & marketing concepts to likes of Kit and Ace, Reigning Champ, Wings + Horns, Lululemon Lab. In addition, I am deeply connected to, and have produced and extensive array of community-building events (art shows, concerts, product launches, etc.) & brand activations within the arts & hospitality markets in Edmonton.
Currently, I am looking to take on purposeful work within the design, fashion, & arts space via my own freelance projects, and with my multi-disciplinary team known as I'll Call You Tomorrow (ICYT).
